Eric Wimsatt

Software engineer / Roblox / Berkeley

It’s not AI slop when I do it.

Former Roblox engineer looking for ways to make software better than ever, exploring AI agents, and improving at my craft.

I like building close to users, shipping fast, and feeling the impact of my work.

01 / About

Large company experience, startup mindset.

Hi, I'm Eric. I worked on the App and Growth teams at Roblox, joining when there were 800 people and leaving at 2,500.

I loved the people I worked with there, but I was always drawn to more open-ended work; work where I can be close to users, ship fast, and have ownership over my work.

Lately I have been exploring ways to make software better, (AI Agents and some more deterministic methods). Some of my recent open source work extends this to a less technical audience.

If you are thinking about dev tools, novel workflows, games, or ideas adjacent to my open source work, we should compare notes!
